Bascand Wines joined the Southern Boundary Wines Group in 2010. It has a very experienced, skilled and professional team that operates in a lean and efficient manner.

DIRECTORS

Andrew and Sue Bascand established the Bascand Vineyards in Marlborough in 1998. They have worked in the USA and UK and are now based in Wellington with a strong involvement in the business. Their passion is their family, wine and relaxing in the Marlborough Sounds.

Production Manager

Email Scott Berry
Scott Berry established the Vineyards and Winery in Waipara and works as the Executive Winemaker and Vineyard Manager based at the winery in Waipara. Scott trained to make wine for a year in Sancerre in France while teaching the French how to play rugby. He then returned to Waipara and has built the company up to a level where it is getting international recognition for its wines.

Frank Manifold was trained in Australia and has worked both in New Zealand and overseas. Frank has a young family and is no stranger to hard work and long hours!

Email Sean Houghton
Sean Houghton has trained in France and has been working with Scott since 2005. Sean assumes the responsibilities for all wine making and client management. Sean has travelled extensively and worked a vintage in France.
